POSITIVE PEDAGOGY

Magdalena’s teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that music is one of the most powerful tools available for human development. Beyond finger technique and repertoire, she is deeply invested in performance psychology and brain development. By understanding how the young brain processes rhythm and melody, she tailors her lessons to be as cognitively stimulating as they are artistically fulfilling.

In her studio, the atmosphere is defined by positive reinforcement and praise. Magdalena is dedicated to instilling a genuine love for music in children of all ages, ensuring that every rehearsal and lesson is an engaging, joyful experience that builds both confidence and character.

WORLD-CLASS EXPERTISE AND EDUCATION

Magdalena’s pedagogical approach is backed by an elite academic background and a string of prestigious accolades:

  • Advanced Postgraduate Diploma (Distinction) in Piano Performance from the Birmingham Conservatoire.

  • Master of Arts from the Nowowiejski Music Academy.

  • Joseph Weingarten Scholar, with specialized study at the Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest focusing on Hungarian masters.

Her excellence has been recognized on the international stage with numerous first-prize awards, including the Symphony Hall & Town Hall Birmingham Prize and being named the Park Lane Group Young Artist of the Year in London.

A VERSATILE MUSICAL JOURNEY

As a performer, Magdalena’s repertoire spans from the complexities of contemporary "New Music" to the masterworks of Janáček and Chopin. She is a sought-after collaborative pianist and accompanist, currently lending her talents to the National Youth Choir and various chamber ensembles.

Whether she is preparing students for ABRSM and Trinity examinations, coordinating large-scale school productions, or performing as a soloist, Magdalena is driven only by one mission: to widen the musical horizons of her students and create a healthy, vibrant, and well-managed musical community.
