We have been learning piano with Magdalena for the past few years, and the progress has been wonderful. She is very patient and encouraging, and she teacher with a true growth mindset - always helping my daughter improve without pressure, while still keeping high standards. What I appreciate most is how she builds musicianship through the learning process, not just 'getting through different pieces'. She sets a thoughtful plan each year, choosing a few pieces that helpstrenghten technique, musicality, and overall understanding of music. We've seen steady improvement in confidence, reading, expression, and performance skills. She also provides many opportunities for students to perform, which has helped my daughter become more comfortable on stage and more confident in her playing. My daughter and I moved from Hawaii in search of a teacher who could guide her through the UK’s ABRSM system and properly support her should she aspire to attend a music conservatory in Europe or the United States in the future. We first met her at my daughter’s first competition here, and shortly after, she began taking lessons with her. My daughter had always simply enjoyed playing the piano, but she truly adores this teacher. She especially loves how the lessons incorporate music theory and discussions about music history in such an engaging and inspiring way. She looks forward to her lessons every week. She is a warm, meticulous, and highly trustworthy teacher, and we feel very fortunate to have found her.
